PURPOSE: A slot processing method of a nuclear fuel storage rack is provided to improve the workability, to reduce the failure rate due to the producing work, and to prevent a bur from being generated in the peripheral part of a slot during processing. CONSTITUTION: A slot processing method of a nuclear fuel storage rack is composed of first and second processes. The first process of a slot(18) by using a first cutting unit is composed of the steps of forming grooves in the upper and lower faces of a partition plate(16) for forming the slot and forming a hole in the center. The second process of the slot by using a second cutting unit is processing the whole shape of the slot while moving from a hole to the edge side of the slot. |
