PURPOSE: A protection circuit assembly and battery pack employing the same are provided to secure space for mounting components. CONSTITUTION: A protection circuit assembly(200) comprises a protection module(212), PTC thermistor(213), external input terminal(214), protection circuit board(210), and first and second lead plates(230,250,270). First and second connect terminals(215,216,217) are mounted in the protection circuit board. The protection circuit board includes a first groove(218) formed on both ends thereof. The first and second lead plates are connected to the first and second connect terminals. One side of the first lead plate is exposed to the outside through the first groove. |
