摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is possibility that a response in re-acceleration becomes worse if there is a request to shift to an HEV travelling mode during EV travelling mode shift control in travelling repeating rapid acceleration or deceleration, and there is possibility that the opportunity of shifting to EV travelling reduces, and as a result, the fuel consumption becomes worse in travelling repeating slow acceleration or deceleration. <P>SOLUTION: A transition from the HEV travelling mode to the EV travelling mode is executed when deceleration of engine rotation becomes not more than an engine-stop determination value during the HEV travelling mode and a given delay time has elapsed.
