<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the properties of both of pyrolytic residue (carbide) obtained by treating organic waste and a reforming gas in matching relation to the use to be utilized. <P>SOLUTION: The organic waste is charged in a gasifying furnace 3 held to a reducing atmosphere with an oxygen ratio of 1 or below to be pyloryzed into a pyrolytic gas, tar and pyrolytic residue (carbide) and the pyrolytic residue is recovered by the action of centrifugal force in a cyclone device 5 while tar and the pyrolytic gas are introduced into a reforming furnace 6 and reacted with oxygen and steam in the reforming furnace 6 to form the reforming gas. The water/carbon ratio (H<SB>2</SB>O/C ratio) in the gasifying furnace 3 or reforming furnace 6 is controlled to adjust the compounding ratio of the carbon amount in the pyrolytic residue (carbide) and that in the reforming gas. Herein, the water/carbon ratio in the gasifying furnace 3 or reforming furnace 6 is preferably controlled by adjusting the amount of the steam supplied into the gasifying furnace 3 or reforming furnace 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
