<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability by reducing the number of O-rings used in an air/water feeding device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The air/water feeding device 11 is disposed inside a hand operating part of an endoscope. The air/water feeding device 11 feeds the gas to be fed into a cylinder 42 from an air supply tube 24 to an air feeding tube 44 when the opening end of a center hole 51 of a piston 50 slidably inserted into the cylinder 42 is closed, and stops feeding when the opening end of the center hole is opened. The air/water feeding device 11 stops feeding of the gas to the air feeding tube 44 when the piston 50 is pushed down, and feeds the feeding liquid to be fed into the cylinder 42 from a water supply tube 26 to a water feeding tube 46. The air/water feeding device 11 comprises an O-ring 59 to separate the gas and the liquid between the inner surface of the cylinder 42 and the distal end 54 of the piston 50; a valve chest 42d connected to an end of the cylinder 42; and a valve element 60 disposed within the valve chest 42d to open a valve hole 61 as pushed by the distal end of the piston 50.
