PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To merge indexes at high speed in a distributed system. SOLUTION: A processor A generates a record list A sequentially including records for N indexes A, and transmits it to a processor B. The processor B searches for a storage B for indexes B on the basis of the record list A, generates a record list B including key values of the records for all the retrieved indexes B, and transmits it to the processor A. The processor A searches for a storage A on the basis of the record list B to transmit the record list A including the key values of the records for the retrieved indexes A.
