A system and method for acquiring the image of micro particle in solution are disclosed. The system includes a camera unit (160), a flow cell (120) including a detection spot (F), an optical processing unit, a detection unit and a control unit (150). When the control unit (150) controls the optical processing unit to emit constant light to the detection spot (F) in the flow cell (120), the detection unit is used to send a micro particle arriving signal to the control unit (150) when it is assured that the micro particle arrives at the detection spot (F) based on the light beam transmitting through the detection spot (F). The control unit (150) is used to control the optical processing unit to emit strobe light based on the micro particle arriving signal, and control the camera unit (160) to acquire the image of the micro particle in the strobe light.
