PURPOSE: A panorama image generating method for a portable terminal is provided to realize accurate image matching while quickly extracting a feature point from a photographing image and reduce a calculation amount and time by a rendering process, thereby generating a panorama image fast even under limited CPU performance and memory environments. CONSTITUTION: A panorama image generating method for a portable terminal includes an image obtaining process, a feature point extracting process, a feature point matching process, a bundle adjusting process and a rendering process. Images are captured by a camera in the image obtaining process. In the feature point extracting process, feature point information is extracted from a captured input image. In the feature point matching process, connection and arrangement between input images are performed. In the bundle adjusting process, a camera value for combining images is obtained using information matched between images.
