<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a program recommendation function which targets on not only terrestrial digital broadcast and BS/CS digital broadcast, but also IP broadcasting and VOD using an IP network. <P>SOLUTION: A home gate way 3 receives the IP broadcasting and contents from a wide area network 4 and distributes them to a receiving terminal 2, and at the same time, obtains a program information of each broadcasting media and stores it. The receiving terminal 2 transmits channel selection information which is viewed and listened and identification information of a user or the receiving terminal to the home gateway 3. The home gate way 3 creates a profile showing the looking and listening tendency of program by each user or each receiving terminal 2, searches programs which suit the profile from a program information of each broadcasting media, and recommends to the user or the receiving terminal 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
