<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for extracting and collecting tissues, usable for tissue engineering and transplanting. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the device may include an outer tube. With a rotatable shaft disposed in the outer tube, a tissue sampling tip may be provided at a far end. The tissue sampling tip is effective for cutting the tissue as it rotates. It may include a tissue collecting device for receiving and collecting the cut tissue. The tissue collecting device may indicate the amount of tissue collected in it. In some embodiments, the tissue collecting device may make translating motion to indicate the amount of tissue collected.
