<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a circuit for solving burning phenomenon without increasing its scale. <P>SOLUTION: This is the image display device having a display unit constituted of a plurality of display elements, a signal line for inputting display signal voltage to the display unit, and a display control unit for controlling the display signal voltage. The device is provided with a detection power source, a switch for causing a current of the detection power source to flow to the display element, a detection circuit for detecting the current flowing in the display element, and a detection information storage circuit for storing information detected by the detection circuit and correcting the display signal voltage by the information. The detection circuit is constituted so that after a first current measurement range is set by the first reference voltage and the current detection is carried out, by feeding back the detected current quantity, a second current measurement range is set by the second reference voltage being different from the first reference voltage and the current detection is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
