<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute image processing in a saving mode of color material consumption without forgetting, when understanding that saving processing of the color material consumption is applied only by looking at printed output sheet. <P>SOLUTION: After creating a document by using the application 11 of a host PC 10, when executing a print by an operation display part 13, created document data are converted into PDL data by a printer driver 12, and is transmitted to a printer 20. A color material save mode in the operation display part 13 is set automatic or ON, and when a sheet information determining part 31 determines that a sheet cassette of exclusive sheet is installed in the printer 20, image processing is executed by a color material save processing part 24a, and the print is outputted by the color material save mode.
