<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturization and power saving while performing tactile feedback like when writing characters on paper with a writing implement, using a stylus pen. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A touch panel type input device having a touch panel 2 detecting contact in a position corresponding to the display position of an image displayed on a display device to generate an input signal, comprises: the stylus pen 7 having a piezoelectric vibrator for generating vibration according to the input signal; a digital signal processor 4 outputting a driving signal when the touch panel 2 detects the contact of the stylus pen 7; and a D-class amplifier 5 for driving the piezoelectric vibrator based on the driving signal output from the digital signal processor 4.
