<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically folding booklets different in size into a booklet while suppressing increase in equipment cost, in a compound folder, a printer, and a compound folding method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The compound folder comprises: a cutting/laterally folding device having a first cutting cylinder, a folding cylinder, and a folding roller, and folding a printed first web group; a cutting device having a second cutting cylinder and a receiving cylinder, and cutting a printed second web group; a carrying device carrying a second sheet group of the cut second webs to the cutting/laterally folding device; and a guide mechanism feeding the second sheet group carried by the carrying device in between the first web group fed to the folding cylinder outer circumference of the cutting/laterally folding device and the folding cylinder outer circumference, and winding the second sheet group around the folding cylinder outer circumference together with the first web group. In the cutting/laterally folding device, the first sheet group of the first web group cut by the first cutting cylinder and the second sheet group are overlapped, and are laterally folded by the folding cylinder and the folding roller.
