<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firmware management system capable of updating the firmware of an electronic apparatus connected through a network to the latest state all the time without needing a time and labor of a manager or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This firmware management system 1 configured by connecting a plurality of electronic apparatus 11 and 21 operating based on firmware through a network to a firmware management server 12 which distributes the new version of firmware to the electronic apparatus 11. The firmware management system 1 is provided with a firmware transmission part for uploading the new version of firmware from the electronic apparatus 11 to the firmware management server 12 when the new version of firmware installed in the electronic apparatus 11 does not exist in the firmware managed by the firmware management server 12.
