The vehicle seat (1) has a shear frame (3) which oscillates in a main oscillation direction (z) and which has a top frame (7) and two pairs of rockers (8a,8b). The rockers cross in pairs on a shear axis (10) running in seat transverse direction (y). The latter pair of rockers are connected with each other on their upper end by a cross tube (18) running in seat transverse direction and are movably guided in or on the top frame in seat longitudinal direction (x) for oscillating the shear frame by pivotable rollers. The cross tube is locked with the top frame by a blocking device (20).
