<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing width deviation of strip is provided in which supervisor control computer receives strip width information of following hot rolled coil before welding through link means so that width deviation of the strip is removed by count value of speed detector after automatically calculating strip width removing value. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises upper and lower straight knives for removing width deviation part of preceding strip(11) and following strip(10), and a notcher main body part(100) in which the upper and lower straight knives are installed at both sides to selectively remove a tail end part of the preceding strip or a top end part of the following strip; a notcher main body traverse part(300) in which separation type cylinder connector for enabling traverse of the notcher main body part is installed; a notcher main body rotation part(200) in which gear type cylindrical turntable for enabling rotation of the notcher main body is installed; and a notcher traveling rail part(400) for moving the notcher main body part to a strip removing position, wherein the notcher main body part comprises a notcher body, upper and lower knives and driving facility thereof, and strip sensor, wherein the notcher main body traverse part comprises traverse cylinder, and speed detector and count bar thereof, and wherein the notcher main body rotation part comprises turntable, turntable rotation cylinder, and touch sensor and touch bar thereof.</p> |
