<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium excellent in high-speed absorption performance, environmental curl preventing property, easy handling property of adhesive faces such as an album, conveyance scratch resistance in continuous printing in the case of loading a large number of sheets and surface glossiness, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording medium, one surface of an air permeable support (surface A) has at least one porous ink receiving layer on the outermost surface, the other surface (surface B) has at least one porous curl adjusting layer and an outermost surface layer partially coated with at least one kind of resin composition, and at least one intermediate layer is provided between the porous curl adjusting layer and the outermost surface layer.
