<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of mounting parts of a guide pipe at an idle side and pipe mounting man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: The sunroof device 30 for the vehicle is provided with a sunroof panel; a roof frame 20 for openably/closably supporting the sunroof panel; and a drive motor unit for push/pull-driving the sunroof panel through a cable 32. In the cable, a portion at a drive side connected to the sunroof panel is inserted to the drive side guide pipe making an engagement part with a gear of a drive motor unit as a border, and a portion 32c at a non-drive side at an opposite side to the drive side is inserted to the guide pipe 52 at the idle side. The roof frame has a water-discharge groove 62 extending in a roof longitudinal direction and a water-discharge member 70 communicated with the water-discharge groove.
