<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crossing rod breakage detection device of a railroad crossing gate can normally and surely detect breakage of a crossing rod with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This breakage detection device 100 detects breakage of the crossing rod 3 in the railroad crossing gage 1. The device 100 is provided with an angle sensor 13 as a position detection means for detecting an elevating position of the crossing rod 3 by rotating with a crossing rod rotary shaft 41 as a center, a torque sensor 12 as a torque detection means for detecting torque T fluctuating according to rotation angleθof the crossing rod 3, and a comparison deciding part 16 for deciding breakage of the crossing rod 3 based on the torque T detected by the torque sensor 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
