<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide endless belt which stabilizes resistance and reduces damage to the edge of the belt, resulting from setting of ribs, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides a polyamic acid composition in which carbon black is dispersed in a solution comprising a polyamic acid represented by formula (1) having amino groups at molecular terminal ends thereof, and a solvent. In formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>represents a tetravalent organic group, R<SP>2</SP>represents a divalent organic group, and m represents an integer of 1 or more. The method of manufacturing a polyimide endless belt includes: a step of coating the polyamic acid composition onto the surface of a cylindrical substrate; subjecting the coated polyamic acid composition to heating process; and converting a polyamic acid structure into an imide.
