PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine which generates the possibility of motivating players to positively take parts in a mini-game with a higher performance ability in the promotion to variable probability by the smooth progress of performance as operated by the players even if whether the promotion to the variable probability should be made or not is determined by an internal lottery processing. SOLUTION: In the pinball game machine, when a special game is executed, after information pertaining to the game operable by the players is previously displayed, the game is executed. The players are notified whether the probability of shifting to the special game should be varied or not directly or indirectly at a timing out of two timings or more containing at least those during the implementation and after the end of the special game. When the notification is made during the implementation or after the end of the special game, whether the notification should be made during the implementation or after the end of the special game is determined according to the result of the game operable by the players.
