摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress production of yarn breakage and fluff during drawing in a method for producing nylon 66 fibers, and to provide a cord for reinforcing rubber having high tenacity retention. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous fiber treating agent is applied in a stage after spinning and prior to the drawing. The nonaqueous fiber treating agent comprises (A) 30-40 wt.% of a diester compound of thiodipropionic acid with a 12-20C saturated monohydric branched alcohol, (B) 40-50 wt.% of a diester compound of a saturated dibasic acid except the thiodipropionic acid with a 12-20C saturated monohydric branched alcohol, (C) 5-20 wt.% of a nonionic active agent composed of a reaction product between an ethylene oxide adduct of a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester having two or more hydroxy groups and a monocarboxylic acid and/or a dicarboxylic acid, and having a molecular weight of 2,000-8,000 and containing 20-60 wt.% of ethylene oxide, (D) 0.1-3 wt.% of a hindered phenol type antioxidant, and (E) 0.5-5 wt.% of a modified polyorganosiloxane.
