PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for a wet clutch and/or a four-cycle engine for a motorcycle, which is capable of improving power transmission performance of a wet clutch and reducing friction of an engine and is excellent in fuel consumption reduction. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition comprises a lubricant base oil, (A) 0.01-0.2 mass% (in terms of phosphorus) metal salt of a prescribed phosphorus compound, (B) 0.005-0.5 mass% (in terms of metal) metallic detergent comprising a metal salt of an aromatic acid having a branched alkyl group, (C) 0.005-0.10 mass% (in terms of boron) boron-modified succinimide ashless dispersant and (D) 0.01-0.10 mass% (in terms of molybdenum) molybdenum dithiocarbamate.
