PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic for eyelashes that can form a uniform and glossy cosmetic film having good adhesion to eyelashes in spite of containing fibers and does not cause bundling or branching of the eyelashes nor a feeling of loading the cosmetic film and is excellent in durability because its fiber does not come off the eyelashes and not fall onto the eyes. SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type cosmetic for eyelashes comprises (A) a nylon 12 fiber, (B) a water-insoluble film-forming polymer, (C) water and (D) an oily component, and its consistency measured at 30°C with a No.2 aluminum cone is 170 to 350.
