<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide, which has high activity at low temperature; a method for manufacturing the catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide; and a system for reforming a hydrocarbon. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide, which consists of at least platinum and copper wherein the atomic ratio of copper is 5 to <25 at.%, includes, at least, the steps of: dispersing a carrier in an aqueous solution; adding a platinum precursor and a copper precursor to the carrier-dispersed aqueous solution; further adding an auxiliary reducing agent to the aqueous solution; and irradiating the aqueous solution with an electron beam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
