<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a hysteresis of a silica-filled vulcanized elastomer compound. <P>SOLUTION: A tin-coupled diene elastomer is generated by mixing a diene monomer and optionally a monovinyl aromatic monomer together with an initiator and a regulator, by establishing a polymerization condition, and by terminating polymerization with a terminator containing an organo-tin group. The tin-coupled diene elastomer is blended together with an amorphous silica filler and a curing agent to form a compound. A pneumatic tire tread stock incorporated with the vulcanized elastomer compound exhibits reduced rolling resistance in a tire state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
