<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flicker and to appropriately control the heater temperature of a fixing device, regarding an image forming apparatus including the fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: Energization patterns of power to be supplied to a heater for the fusing device before/after the timing of changing a power energization percentage so that frequency distribution of the power energization pattern may be shifted to higher frequency side are compared with each other, and whether the energization pattern should be changed is determined, and for every four half waves occurring after the power energization percentage is changed, the first and second half waves, and the third and fourth half waves are replaced with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
