摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball caster device free to move in a straight line in a desired direction by making a moving direction have directivity though it is the ball caster device when moving it at moving a setting place of an apparatus such as an image formation device etc. and excellent in controllability, a mounting base using the caster device, the image formation device and a heavy structure. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by constituting the ball caster device provided with a ball, a holding member to hold the ball free to rotate and a member provided free to make contact with and separate from a surface of the ball and to regulate the rotating direction of the ball when it contacts with the surface of the ball.
