<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image arrangement with favorable appearance having a uniform feeling or a feeling of unity in a template arranging two-page spreads and images in pairs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image with a gaze direction of an object to a right side is selected as an image to be arranged in a left page of a two-page spread, an image with a gaze direction of an object to a left side is selected as an image to be arranged in a right page of the two-page spread, and images belonging to the same theme group are preferentially arranged in the same two-page spread.
