<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently performing the working at lower cost than before when dismantling an underwater concrete structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An elevating/lowering stage 2 which is elevated from the level below the water surface to the level above the water surface is installed on a water bottom surface close to an underwater concrete structure 30 for dismantling. A portion below the water surface of the underwater concrete structure is cut off by a cutting device. The cutoff concrete block 32 is moved underwater while it is being hung by a crane, and loaded on the elevating/lowering stage 2 to be lowered below the surface water. Thereafter, the elevating/lowering stage 2 is elevated above the water surface, the concrete block 32 is divided into a plurality of portions by the cutting device.
