PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hollow resin particles can retain a hollow shape without decay of the shell thereof even at a high temperature of 200°C or more. SOLUTION: This hollow particle is one having a volume average particle diameter of 0.1μto 1 mm in which a shell constituting the hollow particle includes one type or more types of layer(s) and the outermost layer of the layers is a layer (L1) composed of a polyimide (a), is preferably the hollow particle according to claim 1 in which the shell includes one type of layer and the layer is a layer (L1) composed of a polyimide (a), or is preferably the hollow particle according to claim 1 in which the shell includes two types of layers of which an outer layer is a layer (L1) composed of a polyimide (a) and an inner layer is a layer (L2) composed of another material (b).
