PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding window in which the sliding resistance of a glass plate is lowered to facilitate the sliding of the glass plate. SOLUTION: In a vertical sliding type sliding window disposed at a cab of a loader, a door frame 22 is constituted of a base frame 50 formed by assembling four peripheral edges, and a glass holding frame 60 holding the glass plate 26 and fixed to the base frame 50. In the glass plate 26 slidably disposed at the inside of the glass holding frame 60, a surface of a sliding operation side is provided with abutting plates 80 abutting on vertical frame members 61 of the glass holding frame 60 disposed along a sliding direction.
