<p>Method for removing contaminants and/or harmful substances from dirty liquid grease or oil comprises: adding absorbing substance in the form of a powder or granules to the liquid grease or oil, for absorbing the contaminants; removing the contaminates, where the powder or granules are placed in a refillable and multi-use receptacle; and removing the receptacle along with the powder or granulates after the process of adsorption or absorption of the contaminants and/or harmful substance. Method for removing contaminants and/or harmful substances from dirty liquid grease or oil by using an absorbing substances, comprises adding the absorbing substance in the form of a powder or granulates to the liquid, optionally warm or hot oil or grease, for adsorbing the contaminants and subsequently removing the contaminates from the grease or oil, where the powder or granulates are placed in a refillable and multi-use receptacle, which exhibits porous structure at least at one location and which retains the powder or granulates but is permeable to the liquid grease or oil and to the contaminants contained in them; and removing the receptacle along with the powder or granules after the process of adsorption or absorption of the contaminants and/or harmful substance. An independent claim is included for a device for removing contaminants and/or harmful substances from a dirty liquid grease or oil in the form of granules or powder that is filled with adsorbent material comprising a re-usable, heat-resisting and washable material, which is in the form of a pillow-shaped or bag-shaped sieve-network or sieve-like tissue or operated as a shape-retaining container with at least one porous, oil/grease-permeable wall and with at least an opening, optionally reversibly lockable, for the refilling of the adsorbent material.</p> |
