<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propolis composition produced by improving water-solubility of propolis extract extracted from an original lump of propolis or the like with a solvent whose main component is a hydrophilic organic solvent: and to provide a method for producing the propolis composition. <P>SOLUTION: The propolis composition is obtained by using the original lump of propolis, supercritical extraction residue from the original lump of propolis or extraction residue from the solvent whose main component is water, as extraction raw material, and contains extraction components from the solvent whose main component is the hydrophilic organic solvent, alkaline chemicals, and at least one kind selected from amino acid, an amino acid derivative and protein hydrolysate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
