<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording body which has an excellent aptitude as the ink jet recording material such as scratching resistance when fed in a printer, ink absorbency and glossiness, and which is excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A cast type ink jet recording body is constituted by successively laminating at least one ink accepting layer containing a pigment and an adhesive and a gloss revealing layer on an air-permeable base material. The gloss revealing layer is formed by bringing a coating liquid layer for the gloss revealing layer into press-contact with a heated mirror surface drum while the layer is in a wet state or in a re-wet state and drying the layer. The gloss revealing layer contains the pigment of <5 μm grain size and at least one kind selected from poly(oxyethylene) stearylamine, poly(oxyethylene) oleylamine, poly(oxyethylene) tallow alkylamine and poly(oxyethylene) coconut oil fatty acid amide and 20° glossiness of a gloss revealing layer surface by JIS-Z-8741 is 15% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
