<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film of low hygroscopicity and moisture permeability, having proper elasticity, having no brittleness, and excellent in mechanical strength; and a polarizing plate and an image display using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This copolymer contains (A) a structural unit derived from propylene, (B) a structural unit derived from a 4C-20C α-olefin, and (C) a structural unit derived from a cyclic olefin expressed by General Formula (1) where R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>4</SP>represents independently hydrogen or alkyl group, and m is 0 or 1, and contains 10 to 69 mol% structural unit derived from (A), 1 to 50 mol% structural unit derived from (B), and 30 to 89 mol% structural unit derived from (C), and has 50,000 to 1,000,000 weight-averaged molecular weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
