<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and a receiving method capable of improving detection accuracy of synchronization channel. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver comprises a receiving section for receiving a slot containing a plurality of OFDM symbols, and a processing section for processing the slot received at the receiving section.
