<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a rotary electric machine having a voltage conversion part and a frequency conversion part, and in which high power is achieved and cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 100 controlling the rotary electric machines MG1 and MG2 includes a first limit value deciding part deciding a limit value in the voltage conversion part 1 as a first limit value based on element temperatures of first switching elements 1c and 1d that the voltage conversion part 1 has, a second limit value deciding part deciding a limit value in a frequency conversion part 21 as a second limit value based on element temperatures of second switching elements 21a to 21f that the frequency conversion part 21 has, a third limit value deciding part deciding a limit value in a frequency conversion part 22 as a third limit value based on element temperatures of third switching elements 22a to 22f that the frequency conversion part 22 has and a common limit value deciding part deciding the lowest limit value among the first limit value, the second limit value and the third limit value as a common limit value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
