<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for reducing time and efforts for updating a program, and for preventing data from being leaked from a client device to the outside, and for controlling equipment installed in the client device. <P>SOLUTION: This system includes a client device 10 and a server device 20. This system stores identification information for identifying an application program (APG) and permission information showing the permission of executing the APG in association with each other (42). This system accepts the identification information (31).
