<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a birefringent layer made of a solidified liquid crystal material, or a laminate including this layer from being removed from an article without being broken down after a security device is stuck to the article. <P>SOLUTION: A security device 10 has a multi-layered structure of three or more layer including a birefringent layer 13 made of the solidified liquid crystal material, a contact pattern 16 having one principal surface brought into contact with a part of the birefringent layer 13, and an adjacent layer 12 having a part brought into contact with the other principal surface of the contact pattern 16 and having another part brought into contact with the birefringent layer 13. In the multi-layered structure, a contact part including the one part of the birefringent layer 13 and the another part of the adjacent layer 12, out of a plurality of contact parts each of which consists of two layers being in contact with each other, has a lower adhesion strength between two layers than those of the other contact parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
