<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming an image without interruption even if any foreign matter is detected during image reading and enabling to easily identifying the page having the foreign matter and the position of the foreign matter after forming the image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a reading means 11 for reading an original; an image forming means 132 for forming an image of the original read by the reading means 11 on a sheet; a detecting means 204 for detecting any irregular part caused by a foreign matter included in the image of the original read by the reading means 11; and a control means 131 for controlling the image forming means 132 to form, in response to detection of an irregular part by the detecting means 204, the image of the original on which an irregular part is detected on sheets whose number is larger than the number of sheets on which the image forming means 132 forms an image of an original on which no irregular part is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
