<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate cylinder for sleeve printing plate which does not cause damages on the sleeve surface of the plate cylinder thereby does not make it hard to attach or detach the sleeve printing plate or deteriorate the printing quality even though the sleeve printing plate is cut by a cutting tool and taken out, and to provide a printing apparatus for the can having the plate cylinder for sleeve printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The plate cylinder for sleeve printing plate 60 includes a sleeve surface 62 extending along an axis line L and a sleeve printing plate 30 mounted in a detachable manner on the sleeve surface 62, a part of the sleeve surface 62 characteristically having a concave part 67 for receiving the blade of a cutting tool provided thereon which is inward depressed in a radial direction thereof and used when cutting the sleeve printing plate 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
