<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor that can reduce the code amount of encoded data by making a value of data after prediction input to an encoding unit small. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 1 includes a quantization unit 2 which receives first data D1 before quantization and outputs second data D2 after the quantization, a prediction unit 3 which outputs a difference value between the second data D2 and third data D3 being prediction data as fourth data, and the encoding unit 4 which encodes the fourth data D4. The quantization unit 2 includes a first processing unit 5 which divides the first data D1 by a quantization coefficient to obtain fifth data D3 as a division result including a fraction, and a second processing unit 6 which obtains the second data D2 by rounding up or rounding off the fraction so that the value of the fourth data D4 becomes small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
