<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position fixing material for a member to be packed which does not require time and labor in manufacturing and has no possibility of being damaged by a shock during transportation. <P>SOLUTION: The position fixing material for a member to be packed which is formed with a protruding piece for covering the protruding part of the member to be packed includes a first panel member 1 mainly made of a paper board material and a second panel member 2 higher in rigidity than the paper board material. The first panel member is provided with one straight verticalcut 1a, two facing horizontal cuts 1b, 1b and two protruding parts 1c, 1c which are to face when each cut is cut off to be folded at 90°between both facing ends of the two horizontal cuts. The straight line part of the cuts 1b, 1b joins to both ends of the horizontal cut in a T-shape and both ends of the straight line part are formed to be apart mutually. The second panel member is formed with two protruding parts 2a, 2a which are folded at 90°and closely go between the straight line parts of the two horizontal cuts.
