The invention relates to a turbofan engine nacelle (1) comprising at least one cowling structure (8, 9) having an internal wall (10) intended to define an external wall of an annular duct (6) in which a secondary stream (F) flows, said structure being equipped with at least one nozzle (11) which can move with respect to said structure (8, 9) so as to adjust the exhaust cross section of the annular duct (6) as a function of the position of said movable nozzle (7). Said cowling structure (8, 9) comprises a downstream end equipped with a shroud (17) extending in the direction of the annular duct (6) and having a free end (18), the movable nozzle (11) comprising an end region (19), directed towards the downstream side, having an external wall with a first section (20) situated in line with the free end (18) of the shroud (17) along the axis (A) of movement of the nozzle (11), and a second section (21) designed to extend in the continuation of the shroud (17) when the nacelle (1) is in the cruise position so as to provide surface continuity between the cowling structure (8, 9) and the movable nozzle (11), said nozzle being able to be moved between a retracted position in which the shroud (17) substantially covers the end region (19) of the nozzle (11), i.e. said cruise position, and an extended position in which the free end (18) of the shroud (17) is situated close to or in contact with said first external wall section (20). |
