The unit has an LED (2), and an energy storage (9) i.e. accumulator, for supplying the LED with electrical energy. A switch e.g. acoustic switch or knocking switch, activates and/or deactivates the lighting unit, and charging contacts (6) charge the energy storage. The LED is provided with a lens (1), and a luminance sensor is preselected based on luminance of the lighting unit. A driver circuit operates the LED, where the lighting unit is switched off during charging of the energy storage. A controller e.g. microcontroller or microprocessor, controls the LED. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a charging device comprising charging slots (2) a method for operating a charging device. |
