PURPOSE: A unit for supporting a flat panel and a stage for inspecting a flat panel having the unit are provided to simplify a structure of an inspection stage and reduce a size of the inspection stage. CONSTITUTION: A unit for supporting a flat panel includes a pair of first support members(130) and a pair of second support members(150). The first support members respectively support horizontal sides of the flat panel. The second support members are movable in a horizontal direction of the flat panel according to a size of the flat panel. The second support members include the first base block, the second base block and two support blocks(152,154).
