PURPOSE: A WCDMA communication method and a system thereof are provided to realize the smooth handover from an FA of a serving base station to an FA of a target base station. CONSTITUTION: A WCDMA communication method comprises the following steps of: transmitting a measurement control message to a mobile terminal; receiving signal quality information which is measured for a dummy FA from the mobile terminal; and controlling the handover to an FA of a target cell from an FA of a serving cell.
