PURPOSE: A pressure cooker is provided to facilitate opening and closing a lid by rotating a rotary knob after manipulating a safety unit coupled on the rotary knob. CONSTITUTION: A pressure cooker(1) comprises a container(2), a lid(4), a packing(5), two clamps(7), a cover(12), a pinion(16), and a rotary knob(6). The container includes a contact part(2a) and a reinforcement part(2b). The contact part is formed on the upper end of the opening to be contacted with the packing. The reinforcement par is formed on the end part of the contact part. The cover(4a) positioned at the outside of the contact part is bent downward. The packing is inserted into the inside of the cover. Two clamps are installed at the upper side of the lid to be faced. The cover covers the upper part of a slide board(9). The cover is pressure-fixed by a nut(15). |
